1. Purpose
These general terms of service (hereinafter 'CGS') govern the use of the ECHOPAROLE platform, a service connecting clients who need interpretation services with professional interpreters.
Use of the platform implies full acceptance of these CGS by the user. ECHOPAROLE reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time, with modifications taking effect upon publication on the platform.
2. Registration and user account
Registration on the platform is free and open to any natural or legal person with legal capacity to contract. The user undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information during registration.
Each user may only create one account. They are responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials and all activities performed under their account.

The client acknowledges that ECHOPAROLE acts only as an intermediary and that the interpretation service is provided directly by the selected interpreter.

The interpreter undertakes to:

5. Limitation of liability
ECHOPAROLE acts only as a technical intermediary between clients and interpreters. The company cannot be held responsible for:
- The quality of interpretation services provided
- Damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform
- Loss of data or information
- Disputes between clients and interpreters
- Non-compliance with legal or tax obligations by interpreters
In any event, ECHOPAROLE's liability is limited to the amount of commissions received for the service concerned.
6. Commissions, fees and payment collection mandate
ECHOPAROLE takes a commission of 10% (excluding tax) on the interpreter's service amount (HT) for each booking performed via the platform. This commission is invoiced by ECHOPAROLE SAS to the interpreter, with 20% TVA applied on the commission amount. The commission rate is clearly indicated during registration and may be modified with 30 days' notice.
Bank transaction and exchange fees are borne by the user. Prices displayed on the platform represent the interpreter's service rate excluding tax (HT). Where the interpreter is VAT-liable, the applicable TVA (20%) is added to the price displayed to the client.
Payment for services is collected by ECHOPAROLE SAS on behalf of the interpreter under a collection mandate (mandat d'encaissement). The client pays ECHOPAROLE directly. ECHOPAROLE deducts its commission (10% HT + 20% TVA on commission) from the collected amount and transfers the net balance to the interpreter within 7 working days after the service is performed.
