1. Purpose
These general terms of service (hereinafter 'CGS') govern the use of the ECHOPAROLE platform, a service connecting clients who need interpretation services with professional interpreters.
Use of the platform implies full acceptance of these CGS by the user. ECHOPAROLE reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time, with modifications taking effect upon publication on the platform.
2. Registration and user account
Registration on the platform is free and open to any natural or legal person with legal capacity to contract. The user undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information during registration.
Each user may only create one account. They are responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials and all activities performed under their account.
ECHOPAROLE reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in case of violation of these CGS or fraudulent use of the platform.
3. Role and obligations of the client
The client uses the platform to search for and book interpretation services. They undertake to:
- Provide accurate information regarding their interpretation needs
- Respect the time slots agreed with the interpreter
- Make payment according to the agreed terms
- Treat the interpreter with respect and professionalism
- Cancel their bookings within the time limits provided by the cancellation policy
The client acknowledges that ECHOPAROLE acts only as an intermediary and that the interpretation service is provided directly by the selected interpreter.
4. Requirements and obligations of the interpreter
To register as an interpreter on the platform, the user must:
- Hold a valid SIRET number and be declared as a business
- Possess the necessary qualifications and certifications for interpretation
- Provide supporting documents for their language skills
- Maintain professional liability insurance
The interpreter undertakes to:
- Provide professional quality interpretation services
- Strictly respect the confidentiality of exchanges
- Be punctual and respect agreed time slots
- Keep their availability updated on the platform
- Invoice their services in accordance with displayed rates
5. Limitation of liability
ECHOPAROLE acts only as a technical intermediary between clients and interpreters. The company cannot be held responsible for:
- The quality of interpretation services provided
- Damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform
- Loss of data or information
- Disputes between clients and interpreters
- Non-compliance with legal or tax obligations by interpreters
In any event, ECHOPAROLE's liability is limited to the amount of commissions received for the service concerned.
6. Comisiones, tasas y mandato de cobro
ECHOPAROLE cobra una comisión del 10% (sin IVA) sobre el importe sin IVA de la prestación del intérprete por cada reserva realizada a través de la plataforma. Esta comisión es facturada por ECHOPAROLE SAS al intérprete, con aplicación del IVA al 20% sobre el importe de la comisión. La tasa de comisión se indica claramente en el momento de la inscripción y puede ser modificada con un preaviso de 30 días.
Los gastos de transacción bancaria y de cambio corren a cargo del usuario. Los precios mostrados en la plataforma corresponden a la tarifa sin IVA de la prestación del intérprete. Cuando el intérprete está sujeto al IVA, el IVA aplicable (20%) se añade al precio mostrado al cliente.
El pago de las prestaciones es cobrado por ECHOPAROLE SAS en nombre del intérprete en el marco de un mandato de cobro. El cliente paga directamente a ECHOPAROLE. ECHOPAROLE deduce su comisión (10% sin IVA + 20% IVA sobre la comisión) del importe cobrado y transfiere el saldo neto al intérprete en un plazo de 7 días hábiles tras la realización de la prestación.
